Turn Your Dream into a Reality
You know that buying a home is one of the most important investments that you will ever make. The question is–Where do you start? Being a first-time homebuyer can be stressful and downright scary. Neighborhood Housing Partnership (NHP) understands how intimidating this process can be and works with new homebuyers every day. We offer a comprehensive homebuyer education class in a fun and supportive atmosphere. The 8-hour course meets on Tuesday evenings at our office at 527 East Home Road. The fee for the class is $50; free scholarships are available for eligible Clark County households. There is a requested donation of $15 for the workbook. In addition, a counselor can schedule an optional one-on-one session with each student to review his or her personal credit report. The counselor will also assist students with credit repair. The cost of the credit report is $32.60/individual; $51.95/joint.
